    Lt. Col. Robert Siau
    Cyber Division Chief, Washington Air National Guard

    Lt. Col. Robert A. Siau is currently serving as the Cyber Division Chief for the 252 Cyberspace Operations Group and duel-hatted to the Washington Joint Forces Headquarters as the Operational Cyber Planner.

    Siau is a seasoned cyberspace operator, serving more than 17 years in cyber missions. During Siau's Command of the 262 COS he led the unit through re-missioning to add the Cyber Protection Team mission capability and formally adding Industrial Control Systems defense capabilities to the Air Force Cyberspace Vulnerability Assessment / Hunter cyber weapon system. Previous to the 262 Command Lt Col Siau served at the 252 Cyberspace Operations Group as the Cyber Division Chief for 6 Months and as the Detachment Commander for the 143d CBCS and 143d IOS for seven years.

    Sau's past operational cyber roles have included Combat Mission Ready Cyber Operator and Standards and Evaluations Evaluator for the CVA/Hunter Weapon System, and many operational, Stan/Eval, and Trainer cyber positions in the Cyber Vulnerability and Cyber Red Team Missions. Additionally, Lt Col Siau has held Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP) credentials since 2010.

    He is a charter member of the Air Force Space Command CVA/Hunt Weapon Systems Team and orchestrated the development of the Air National Guard Cyber Protection Team Concept of Employment document, as well as championing the publishing of the Cyber to Physical UTC (1CDE3), assignment of the first ever 1CDE3 UTC's to the 262 and integration of the Squadrons Industrial Control Systems (ICS) defense capabilities into the CVA/H Weapon System. Siau has been an integral part of the total force Air Force cyberspace community and was awarded National honors as the 2005 Air Reserve Component – Information Operations Company Grade Officer of the year, and the 2012 Air Reserve Component – Field Grade Officer of the year.
